A Novel Color Visual Cryptography Approach Based on Harris Hawks Optimization Algorithm

Hundreds of millions people worldwide use computing devices and services, including smartphones, laptops, messaging apps. Visual cryptography (VC) is one the most secure encryption methods for image in many applications, such as voting security, online transaction privacy protection. An essential step VC encrypting secret images into multiple digital shares to hide them with intention successfully reverting their original form. Hence, a single share cannot reveal information about image. Issues pixel enlargement, high processing costs, low decryption quality influence current state VC. We address these issues by introducing novel technique based on (2, 2) sharing algorithm Harris hawks optimization (HHO) color photos. For process, appropriate levels are determined using HHO algorithm. Consequently, decrypted improved small impact overall complexity. The suggested scheme also non-expandable due equal size initial shared images. This results lower memory requirements quality. approach applied set well-known benchmark Moreover, standard metrics used assess robustness proposed scheme, its capability defending against cryptanalytic attacks, correlation, histogram, encryption. According findings, solution provides better reconstructed quality, time-efficient encryption, nearly optimal statistical properties compared previous approaches.
